Always keep a camera near. That is my motto.
Some of the best photo opportunities I’ve ever had were lost because I didn’t have a camera at hand. No adventure is complete without a photo or two to document the fun.
My first camera arrived in my life on my ninth birthday. The cousin who gave it to me could not have imagined what he had set in motion. Many thousands of images later, I am still snapping away.
Photography is my own personal therapy. When I get behind the lens of my camera I get lost in the effort to capture an image worthy of sharing.
It doesn’t take much to make me happy. Hand me a camera and I will find a wrinkled face, a colored leaf, an old barn, or a nature baby that needs my attention.
If a single picture is worth a thousand words, then I have created a library full of unspoken volumes waiting to be shared one photograph at a time.
