I believe God is speaking to women everywhere to arise and become who He has called us to be.
As Esther, we were born in this time, and in our respective places around the world, for such a time as this.
As Deborah, we are established to be workers in the kingdom of God, both fearless and wise.
As Ruth, we are fashioned to be loyal and steadfast, doing the will of God.
As Hannah, we are to be promise keepers, placing all our hopes and dreams in God’s hands.
As Rebecca, we are chosen ones.
Many women suffer from low self-esteem, or doubt their place in the Kingdom of God. Through the stories and images on these pages, it is my prayer that every reader will see herself differently than she did before opening the cover.
When God looks at us, He doesn’t see our flaws, our warts, our scars, or our failures. If we are born again Christians who have put our faith in Christ Jesus, that’s who He sees in our reflection. All our shortcomings are forgiven at the foot of the cross where we are redeemed by the blood of Christ and His great sacrifice for us.
We are His precious daughters, blood bought, redeemed, children of the Most High God. We are called and equipped through the Word of God and the power of prayer to become Warrior Women and make a difference in this world in our lifetimes.
We are instructed to put on the whole armor of God.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; – Ephesians 6:10 – 18
The call has gone out. DAUGHTERS, ARISE! God is calling His warrior women to come together in unity. Let our voices be heard in the land. Let our prayers touch the throne of Heaven. Let us take up our Sword, which is the Word of God, purify and strengthen ourselves through the power of prayer, and take our places in the ranks of those called by The Living God of Heaven.
1 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and He in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
5 Bow thy heavens, O Lord, and come down: touch the mountains… – Psalm 144
